What is minimum wage there?

here you go, i converted it to aprox $, i spend around $80 a week on petrol.

The minimum wage for those aged 22 and over is £5.52 $11.00.
There is a lower minimum wage of £4.60 $9.20 for those aged 18 to 21.
Freelance and temporary workers are entitled to the minimum wage.
Workers aged 16 and 17 (except apprentices) are entitled to a minimum of £3.40 $6.80 per hour.

I think our federal min is 5.25? it is much higher in the state of Washington though. I think it is over 8.00 now. an hours wage for a gallon of gas....Damn .....I need to get a bus pass...lol

Too bad you're selling your boat, although probably not a bad move if you can get all the water time you want on a friend's boat!:)

Unfortunately for us, we don't have friends with boats:(:(--who would give us as much water time as we want. We play exclusively at Shasta Lake and set up camp for the summer in an RV park closest to our favorite boat ramp. Taking a month off to play...one full week and also every Monday and Tuesday in July and August for 4-day weekends during the summer. Bad thing is that the lake is still 69.62 ft low as of yesterday. Hopefully it'll be full by Memorial Day.

Ever played at Shasta? 370+ miles of shoreline when it's full. We love it there. We play long and hard--managed to put on 60 hours in the month we had our new boat...no cruising, no tubing, just heavy duty boarding. The guys can go for hours wake surfing right behind the boat in the choppiest water. Boat comes out of storage in two months and back to Redding to be dewinterized.

Premium gas for us. I guess there's a price to pay to have fun:)
