This is Mole. he origainally was housed with winston but due to his nocturnal "escape tendencies" he was re-located into a higher security tank lol. I woke up one morning dto discover he was missing, and when I got home from work i searched everywhere and eventually found him in my trainer shoe! As the name suggests!.

Yes that's a great question, where is your turtles basking area? How often do you do water changes? Your tank shouldn't be cloudy if you do plenty of water changes and double your filtration.

Yeah, I have one of those stick on landings that hangs off the glass at the top, quite a large one, orignally the water was dropped a bit and the landing was present but he never used it, it took up to much space so took it out, I only occasionaly use it now because I let him out in my room lol

He spends alot of his time at the bottom sleeping really.

Did you have a basking light on when you had that spot?

He needs to always have access to an area to get out of the water and bask.
