Turtle-Mayhem: There are some areas we would like to address in how you keep your little guy. If we can get those couple things squared away, your turt will be much healthier, happier, and prettier. Do your own research! If you see us say something, go research it! Bottom line is, its your turtle. However, keep in mind that we (as a whole) have decades upon decades of experience.

Your turtle needs to shed the excess phosphate that may be acumulated in its body. For that nothing better than leafy greens(you can float them in the tank and even the fish will munch on them) like turnip greens,mustard greens,water cress, chicory greens and kale. Your turtle will eat them all with gusto even if needs some time to get used to itYea what is defenetly missing there its the basking spot, but you have such a high tank you shure can lower the water level a few inches for itTurtle_Mayhem;2462043; said:
