Vick is a sick ****, not only dog fighting but electrocuting and drowning dogs that were not good enough fighters.

His prison sentence should have been longer, and he should never play again.

By my logic you live in a country that that finds it acceptable to torture and kill Animals for sport. While I know that not every one in spain thinks that way you are represented by your government and the majority of your country. That is why we have laws against dog fighting in the states, because the majority of citizens say it is wrong. Unfortunately every country is judged as a whole.

That's right I do live in a country that find it acceptable to torture and kill animals for sport. Not only bulls, but donkeys at "fiestas" and the treatment of dogs here is generally appalling too.

But conversely, I am not even Spanish. I'm an Englishman currently residing in Spain, and the only reason I am still here is I rescued a dog here and had to wait 7 months for the rabies vaccination to clear.

And the thing I detest most about this country is actually the treatment of animals. It makes me sick.

Not every Spaniard likes bullfighting, not every Korean eats dogs, and not every Japanese hunts whales etc.

So think twice before making assumptions and calling someone a hypocrite. I am not remotely a hypocrite.

Hypocrite was probably harsh and I apologize. It is easy to judge when you are on the outside and looking in. I have 2 little girls and it scares the hell out of me to think that this great country and it citizens will protest and stand outside of a court and actually want a dog abuser to die, but those same people will not protest and defend their own fellow citizens when the ****ed up judicial system does not do it's job to put rapest, child Molesters and murderers behind bars. When you think about it some people care more about animals than their own peers and that is truly sad.

Hypocrite was probably harsh and I apologize. It is easy to judge when you are on the outside and looking in. I have 2 little girls and it scares the hell out of me to think that this great country and it citizens will protest and stand outside of a court and actually want a dog abuser to die, but those same people will not protest and defend their own fellow citizens when the ****ed up judicial system does not do it's job to put rapest, child Molesters and murderers behind bars. When you think about it some people care more about animals than their own peers and that is truly sad.

I find it horrible that this country is so soft on child molesters and rapist too.. they should be removed from society forever..there is no cure...,the damage caused by these sick evil pedifiles leaves scars that none of us could begin to amagine.. life is just never the same with innocence lost But this is a whole different subject.... as one being a priorty it would be children. i would protect a child over an animal always first.. that child is the one who can grow up and love animals and take care of them.. humans make all things possible.. animals will never change the world for the better.. i love animals but i love children more... and i am darn sure that is how almost everyone who has a caring heart feels..

My question which no one seems to be able to answer is why are certain people willing to take time out of their busy schedules and protest outside of a court for an animal injustice, but those same people go on with their everyday life when they here a child molester or murderer was set free. That is the problem, people pick and chose which injustice they care about and they walk around with blinders on to the rest of the injustices that take place.

The sad part about this whole Vick case is that the gambling charges hold a higher penalty than the dog fighting and killing put together. If that dosen't tell you something about our government. They want you to pay for screwing them out of money rather than make you pay for abusing a life.
