Your theory is right on the money bro. I finished feeding them at 1:00 am, watch them for half an hour, went mop the floor, came back at 2:00 to collect his bodyR1_Ridah;1910913; said:DAMN.. sorry to see that John. This is usually the time of year when I loose Tigs as well =-( If you noticed my freezer collection of Tigs is when it reached triple DIGITS in So.Cal.
I noticed with the combination of the heat and if an ammonia spike occurs Tigs will usually croak =-( just my observation. Just wondering did you have anything in the tank that may have caused an ammonia spike?
Past triple digit temps.
Last summer - One of my Mobas died the night before and did not notice till mid morning. Combination of heat and decaying fish perhaps caused death.
Summer before last - Went to San Francisco for a couple of days and one of my fish killed another and with the combination of heat and dead fish perhaps caused death.
Seems as it's always been similar situations.![]()

Poor man chillernavygirl76;1910911; said:i would take some empty 2 liter bottles and fill them with water-freeze them. then you can put a few in the tank and let them float. you need to get a window unit or something in there! lol..
