or start throwing some ice cubes in therei would take some empty 2 liter bottles and fill them with water-freeze them. then you can put a few in the tank and let them float. you need to get a window unit or something in there! lol..
DAMN.. sorry to see that John. This is usually the time of year when I loose Tigs as well =-( If you noticed my freezer collection of Tigs is when it reached triple DIGITS in So.Cal.
I noticed with the combination of the heat and if an ammonia spike occurs Tigs will usually croak =-( just my observation. Just wondering did you have anything in the tank that may have caused an ammonia spike?
Past triple digit temps.
Last summer - One of my Mobas died the night before and did not notice till mid morning. Combination of heat and decaying fish perhaps caused death.
Summer before last - Went to San Francisco for a couple of days and one of my fish killed another and with the combination of heat and dead fish perhaps caused death.
Seems as it's always been similar situations.

I always like to keep ghetto chillers handy in the freezer. It helps drop the temp when it is needed.
I simply save empty soda bottle or milk jugs and fill them with water. Freeze them and have them handy when I need to drop temps. the plastic conatiner helps keep the ice from melting too fast.
