This Tank is HOT!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
damn bro that really sucks.... that was a awesome looking tig....

Sorry....

Also add lots and lots of air. I bet it wasnt the temp that killed the tig, rather the low amount of DO in the tank due to the higher water temps. With plenty of o2 its possible the fish may have survived.

Tigs have high oxygen demands and 95* water doesnt hold too much o2 with out some serious surface agitation.

I do have a lot of air, plus the water flow rate is 1500-2000 gph, for a 225 gal tank

Sorry for your lost bro. It were a hot weekend, i even need to put some ice in my filter in the middle of afternoon when temp reach 95F.

That SUCKS. Sorry for your loss, felt the same way when my Aro and Lionfish went.

What happened?

JOE! You're Lion died?! Wow, sorry to hear that.

And JL- I had the same thing happen to me earlier in the year. It sucks big time, sorry you lost your tig man.

Gah! Big loss, sorry to hear about it John! Man I'm having the same problem as you could tell when you stopped by haha

I didn't want to use ice, because I worry about temp change too quicky, I'm already stressing every week when I do 50% water change.

this weather suuuuucks!!! :irked:

Holy crap that sucks man and damn with out the heater
