This Tank is HOT!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Another reason why I would never put a rare/expensive fish in a place where I don't have control of the room temp. Sorry to hear about the loss man. If that tig was housed in a tank inside your house, idk how the hell you manage to stand being in there when it's hot enough to send tank water to 95 degrees without the help of a heater.:nilly: Hopefully you had enough money to be able to afford that big of a loss. :WHOA:

What's your suggestion? Let my kids play in that room, or keep my tanks there? :D Well, I manage to stand under the sun on a triple digit day in San Fernando Valley, so I guess I can manage a little for the hobby

damn that sucks sorry for your loss bro, I use to have multiple bottles of ice on each side of the tank tied by strings to float in same spot then place my Rio 2500 at each side pushing the water towards the center causing the two currents to push against one another and cool the whole sytem.... just a suggestion on what I use to do before I got my chiller, if you need me to explain more just PM me. Good luck with everything else man I just read your other posts on you getting out of the hobby, we'll be waiting for your return man.

Thanks for your support and information Yoji

Another loss for the big guy... Is the tank where the tig was in the garage or the living room? If it was the garage, that would explain the warmer than normal temperature eventhough the heater was off. The heat of the ground somehow got transferred to the tank or maybe some other magical explanation.

By the way, I will see you again my friend... soon!;););)

Sorry about the loss

(Note to self don't move to Cali) rare fish+hot temp=
