Its crazy the impact a man can have on the world. Condolenses to all who knew and are affected by his death. We lost a real good man but at least it was doing what he loved. RIP Steve Irwin....u will be missed greatly.

you will never be forgotten:cry: :(

Words cannot begin to describe how i feel, i have never actually met Steve, but still i feel a great sense of loss. Ive gone for four days straight now, still not being able to fully accept it, writing this message is the most difficult one ive ever had to write. I grew up around the Crocodile Hunter series, he was so alive it never occured to me that he would just one day be gone.
My heart goes out to you and your family and friends Terri, i cant even being to imagine the loss and pain you must feel at this moment.
His life was all to short, but a very fulfilling one, he made an impact on the world on alot of us, on television with him, we shared the bad times, and the good times.
Our lives will move on, and Steve is no longer apart of it, but he will always live on in our memories.

Best regards and my sincere condolences, Mark

No i dident know em, but he tought me everything i know, i caught my first snake in the backyard, and yes i was talking in an australian accent, im sure he was a great guy, and hes the reason so many animals have been saved today, hes done wonders for the world and he will continue to even though he is gone, my respects to all the family in friends out at The Australia Zoo, The worlds lost a great guy,

I warmed to Steve gradually over the years, I didn't like his style to start with but have been a true convert for years now. Whats not to admire in a person with such huge enthusiasm for what he did. It was infectious. He's championed causes in the news and behind the scenes with little publicity, his zoo apparently runs breeding programs for endangered species. I hope his wife and his family keep the zoo and his good work running just as he would have in life. Sad for his family and children but what a fitting end, cant imagine he would have wanted it any other way somehow.

So, to a lost hero and champion of many causes, a toast.............long may he be remembered for everything good he did and stood for.

" The one thing I would want to be remembered for is passion and enthusiasm. Conservation is my life, my job, my whole persona........"
Steve Irwin 1962-2006 Champion of many great causes. RIP

Thank you for your and Steve's work in conservation and education. As mentioned Steve's influence, personality and passion has been witnessed by countless peoples around the world. His love for you (family/friends/co-workes) was seen in his work and evident by his words. My own family want to express our gratitude and express our condolences you. We have gained an appreciation for the life around us because of Steve's work.

Thank you.

I cried like a baby when I heard Steve was killed and am still in mourning. What an amazing guy who selflessly dedicated his life to conservation. He was one of God's special angels who was sent to us. Steve was my hero!! Love to Terri, Bindi and Bob.
