  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
YOU GUYS WERE RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT WASN'T THE CICH.GRAMMODES THAT BEAT HIM UP IT WAS MY RED TIGER MOTA THAT KILLED THE SANTANPERCA LEUCOSTICTA.
but know i have learned something off one of my experiences and i will not not do it again.thanks to everybody that gave me info on the new pick-ups.

i brought the san.leucosticta thinking it would be ok for one cuz it was a GEO and most geo's will hold ther own and of it's size compared to the fish that i have in the tank already, he was the biggest one in there

THANKS ALOT FOR PRE-WARNING ME

Satanoperca
sp. are not Geophagus. Five minutes of research online could have avoided the death of a beautiful fish. Most Eartheaters (Geophagus, Satanoperca, Gymnogeophagus, etc.) can't and generally will not hold their ground against large aggressive centrals, and even if they 'survive' they generally won't be showing exceptional colour or enjoying themselves - it's a disaster waiting to happen.

We (I?) warned you, you did nothing, and now you've got a dead fish.

RESEARCH FISH COMPATIBILITY BEFORE PURCHASING THEM.

I DONT HAVE MUCH TO SAY TO U DUDE , IM JUST GOING TO LET IT GO AND IM ABOUT TO GO TO THIS PLACE CALLED LOBSTER SHANTY AND EAT SOME SHRIMPS AND DRINK SOME YAC

SO UNTIL I RETURN--THANKS ALOT TO U AND EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME LEARN A LESSON!!!!!!!!

Wow...I am shamed by the dreaded CAPS LOCK!!!11!!1 lolz And yes, that's exactly what I'm saying, it's not native, somewhere in this story lies a nugget of BS.

And a mota killed a leucosticta? Who saw that coming? What's next, dovii and discus in a 29G? Useless...I just feel bad for the fish (and the poor doomed turtle).

I guess this would be the perfect time to use the "block user" feature.
Idiocy doesn't exist if I can't see it. :duh:

X2.

I do feel bad for the fish though. If you look through some of his photos he's got a bunch of natives in with a butti, GT's, and a ton of pikes. All in what seems to be a 90 gallon?

I just can't understand dropping the money for the nice pikes and not housing them decently.
