Wouldn't be considered as littering? I mean a dead fish in public area - once it start to rot ewwwwwwwww

a lot of people here do that. Ex would be they leave ladyfish on the pier to rot =[ so its bony and not the best fish to eat, then throw it back. get over it, they are there, they will be there, you will catch them and killing them is not going to help. Same thing with gar.
My bf, chompers and I were at wekiwa river fishing and the bf caught a nice bowfin (we LIKE bowfin and bowfin fishing, and no they dont hurt the bass population as bass thrive fine here with them.) and these guys kept saying "why dont you kill it" "give it a nice bonk on the head" and such and complained that they ate all the bass eggs. Yes thats why there are a lot of bass swimming in the river, b/c they ate all the eggs.

Yeah tell me about it. Many people thought roughfish are destorying or decrease the gamefish population which its not true, any roughfish live along with gamefish for really long time. The only thing that would decrease the gamefish populations and thats non native fish such as carp, gobies, ruffe and snakeheads.

Go to any peir in California (where you dont need a licence to fish) and just watch the mass killing of all the fish pulled up. People think just because they are there know they can kill as many as they want. Soon the fish will all be gone and then we are in trouble. Its very sad.

Up here, ppl catch a buch of 4'' Bluefish (limit on Shorts under 8'' is 8 I believe) and put them in a platic bag. Really got me going was when someone up here did it with an 8'' Jack Crevalle. There so rare up here, and a tiny one like that has no meat on it, maybe it should be released to surprise another angler! Happens enough that you just gotta deal with it IMO. You gut guts to mess with his catch to; credit too for saving the Squawfish, endangered species!
