Frank, I have no problem with anyone shooting the shhh about whatever. I think that it's a stupid idea, and a waste of forum resources (which overall effects everyone), but that's just my opinion, and me shooting the shhhh.

If anyone figures out what these supposed new rules are, I'd sure like to know what I missed.

I get ya Neil I do but i dont think its a waste of anyones time. This is just a discussion ( and not a new one) if one of the mods reads it, thinks its feasible or things its garbage no harm no foul. This is just the 1st time we've discussed it openly. Not a new subject to the loungers. We all have different tastes, what some think may be stupid others might love.

an area that would have an expanded list of acceptable conversations. Not an area where their are no mods, no rules, no normal codes of conduct.

After all the chaos and bloodshed of the last few days I doubt this will get off the ground. What the whole mess showed me was the mods actually are quite tolerant but will strike once they've been pushed 1 too many times. Its a shame so many people got banned but I think they all got a few chances before the axe fell, maybe a clean out isn't such a bad thing but I don't think the mods will want anymore controversy at this point,

I think if i named it to "kumbaya a place to have mature conversations in an enlightening environment " it would have been recieved better lol.

I dont feel bad. The kid could have eventually learned to chill out... maybe. The other one ? Nah i dont think soo people like that completely destroy the open conversation atmosphere. People like that dont care about discussion, they're endgame is to win and impose their beliefs by any means necessary. That one wanted to change the culture of this site from easy going to down right dead serious.
