Tiger Barbs as dithers!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i can't believe your Oscars and JD doesn't notice them! Good luck

their "loose schooling" behavior seems to confuse the other fish in my tank. I have 7 Tiger barbs and they're so active that the cichlid can't really choose a target before it gets distracted.

If your Tiger barbs are 3" they're the biggest I've ever seen. Thats huge for Tiger barbs IMO. Got any pics of this set-up?

I think its gona work out pretty well for you at least for a while.

Good luck

I would say they are somwhere between 2-3 inches. I don't think they are 3 inches. I'll take some pics later when I get home.

Cool, I love them. Great color and behavoir. Really add a lot to any tank they're comfortable in

what kinda of pike are they with? so far to date, my pike eats anything it can fit in it's mouth, 2 tinfoil barbs, 1 female con, and just today, a decent sized crawdad that i have no idea how he fit in his mouth...

Not sure what kind of pike. Bought it from a lfs labeled "pike cichlid". I will include a photo later.

Fortunately for me I don't have a p-bass. They seem to need live fish. I can't get my oscars to eat them.

As promised...pictures of the setup, barbs, the unknown pike (identify if you like), and one of my camera hog oscars.
