You're going to need to use a scientific name. ;) There is a lot of confusion between what is a Zebra Knife; looks like a different species compared to my "Zebra Knife" Gymnotus coatesi.

Any better shots, perhaps of the entire body? Great looking Knife for sure though, from what I can see.
EDIT: A full body shot would probably be the only way to get a positive ID. Can't see the rest of the pattern/coloring.

Here´s another pic, its really hard to get a decent one, since he´s hidding all day in his piece of wood.

I always tell people its Gymnotus pedanopterus, but I´ve never been really sure

The pic not working. How long is he? A full body shot would be nice.

Sorry, here are some better pics, this guy is really hard to photograph with my crappy camera, since he likes to hide in dark spots.

Also he´s pushing 10 inches, and is about 4 months old
