Tigrinus broken nose, super glue repair....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if you glue the cut or brake then how does the blood flow

you would need to glue to seal the 2 part and the glue would stop the blood flowing between the 2 parts past the joint

Good luck with the operation. It sounds like it could work. I've used super glue on personal injuries. (the also sell that liquid bandage type topical, which is just like super glue too) You should be fine. Just make sure you are not covering the whole surface area with glue. Just the surrounding edge. Any living tissue needs to be touching the other living tissue to bond and heal.

It's a good idea and I've heard of it before on humans. I think people were thinking you would fill the cut with glue to stick it on, like a model airplane; which is not the case. Superglue is used to close an injury or incision because (as stated on the tube) it "bonds skin instantly". This makes for a quick way to stop bleeding and/or prevent infection.

So I guess it works well under water?

Super glue? Sorry to tell ya, but that's not a medical ointment. This sounds like a very very bad idea.
