Just got this little guy! Thinking of just doing black worms, (gonna try trout worms) and silversides. I did see a debate on crustaceans but we will just avoid that for now ?.

Hell be sitting in a 20 long for now so I can easily monitor.

Nice looking cat. Whilst the gills look red that seems to be quite common in young tigs along with the redenning in the white pattern. Both which would cause concern in some other cats. Just keep an eye on water quality, less volume means faster and bigger swings when things change, even just from feeding.

You can feed crustaceans. Tbh I have my tig for about 5 months now and have only been feeding shrimps and clams without the shells. It was about the same size as yours around 2” maybe less. No issues here! Just make sure you water is clean and that’s my main concern.
