Tigrinus Tips

Dee Eng, bro, this is just my opinion (and I know I've mentioned it before on your thread ... but before I thought it was just a funny photo angle). I have never seen or known of a sb tig. But if I ever imagined one, it'd look precisely like yours. This is not just a well-fed tig, this is not a normal looking tig, the proportions are way off. I don't mean to argue. Just stating my take. My take doesn't have to mean anything to anybody, at least I don't expect it.
I’m kinda starting to think so too, my buddy @Rotary4, Joey is certain that it’s a SB as well. But we’ll see in time, and I’m still not ? convinced that it’s a SB. Not gonna deny its body and shape is definitely not your normal tig. Here’s a pics I just took now. P potato Pattato didn’t mine to high jack your thread buddy!

This is what make me think Dee tig is a SB the space between the dorsal and adipose fin is very close where if it lay the dorsal fin down it will touch the adipose fin. My Tig is pushing 12” notice how far apart the space between those two fins are.

Thank you for this. Yes. I'd add everything is shortened and bunched up:

-- cranial/head-to-dorsal,
-- dorsal-to-adipose,
-- adipose-to-caudal...

while the body is of proper girth, which makes it look like this tig is 2x shorter than it should be.

he said he got the Tig at 2” five months ago, is it common for SBs of any species to grow that fast?

From 2" to 7"-8" in 5 months sounds plausible for a normal tig. IDK anything about SB of any species.

Their pattern changes a lot when they’re small my guy is about 7-8” now and every inch he grows his pattern changes. Pics shows him from about 3” to now.
