so to get back on track  liz meant tinfoils, although a 12 inch tiger barb would be BAD ASS. :D

12 volt man has the best looking {hope he still has them} lemon finned tinfoil barbs... they grew from 4 inches to 10 inches in 6 months.. i wish he would post their pics here.. they were stunning... those are the ones i wanted..

thanks for the kind words. I am now in the process of moving, and no longer have the barbs. some went to the LFS (sold that day lol) and the last huge lemon finned barb that I had is swimming around in my friends 180.

In my new fish room, I will only have my 65 saltwater (mono argenteus) and a new 150 gallon freshwater tank..with barbs once again.

I will probably do something like 2 small lemons and perhaps 3 red tinfoils, or I may do 2 tinfoils and a few redhooks, and maybe a severum or three LOL

I will post progress pics of the new 150g tank once I get it.

right now, all I have left to get is the tank, stand and glass top (and gravel a bag at a time)

I have brand new lights, Rena XP3's, AC110, Ebo Jager heaters etc.

I am getting the stand next week for the big one.

okay, by request, shots of my 18 inch lemon finned barbs in the old 90 gallon:

thanks everyone. I will post a 150 progress thread once things get going..
Thank you for posting pics and yes update us...

We have 4 tinfoils in our tank - they are each about 11 or 12" long and 3" thick....they are very quick growers - ours love cichlid pellets and romaine lettuce, but if you really want a growth spurt - give them milk bones!! They love them & they are loaded with protein.
