this titanicus is a wonderful example of a classic gold based....
 
I have a 8" black 273 as well, i would like to get ahold of some reds also, I'm not to fond of the marbles but I'm sure they look great as adults :D
 
considering the way they would be moving you captured the pics so well, with no blur at brilliant clarity. make sure it aint to pointy wood

blacks i believe are females...
what i got was supposedly a red... but notice the color fades as they get older.

at 4" they're more orangey. At 6" onl the finnages remain orange... depth of orange color would depend on the diet and genes.

i've a pic of a marble somewhere of abt 6" ....
 
they are all just colour morphs, its not dependant on sex. females in general just dont look as good, esp when you compare as adults
 
not all females are black, there is also a black L273, and the males are black :D

not v sure abt that. theres a female red i'm thinking of buyin... but i'll give it a wwait as the color doesnt really attract so no risk of anyone buying it soon.
