I have my 125 very well filtered but I wondered if adding air stones, bubble wands, etc. helps any on a tank with a good strong flow to begin with from the filters?

if you have a good strong flow from your filters then air stones wont do much to make it any better, but they do look good and fish love playing in the bubbles,at least mine do.i put my bubble wands on the ends of my tank. hopes this helps.

Yes it will help, especially if your tank temp is warmer, higher temps equal less oxygen. Always a good idea imo. If you don't like the look run it in ur sump.

Just because you have good water flow, does not mean the water is being oxygenated - Yes, I would.
On all of my 75's I have a long air stone buried on either end of the tank. (Except for the gar tank.)
It looks great.

Definitely think air stones are a good addition to any tank! We have them in all of ours and the fish definitely like 'em! Our 12" rtcxtsn can't stay out of the bubbles...he literally spends all day every day swimming back and forth through the bubbles. I'm pretty sure he doesn't realize that he is a catfish and therefore should be sleeping during the day instead of playing in the bubbles.

I dont use airstones only because there is major surface disturbance with my filter and i have no lid. The fish do fine and they havnt jumped, with the exception of one but he landed in the bowl of flakes so I think he was just hungry. Hes the fatest fish I have hes like a pig.
