Why are you guys getting mad at the price of gas?

What costs more? A few bucks a gallon OR damadge to the environment?

Most peoples problems: Drive a huge truck to haul 1 person around.
Buy a big vehicule because they think its safer.
Think its kool driving that Hummer

Well people, you guys need to change. Their is nothing wrong driving a Prius, Fit or Smart car. Oh whats that? Notice how I didn't mention any big 3 cars. You know why? because they don't have any fuel efficient vehicules!!! Get over it people. GM is proud of their 30mpg cars when Honda was killing that over 10 years ago.

We need to change. Once thats done, the price of gas will drop due to lower demand.

We can cut our demand all we want, other countries will pick up the slack. If you want to drive a hybrid that's great, more power to you, but to think that the demand for oil will lessen at all because America is "going green" is ridiculous. Most of the world is starting their own industrial revolutions that we were at a 100 years ago. Look how long it took us to get things even as good as they are today.

I like the Fit, the Smartcars seem a little dangerous though...one accident, and you'd probably come out....not looking very nice. The Prius....hate the way it looks, but I do like the mileage it gets. And i totally agree with you on these people thinking they look cool driving monsters around thinking they look cool, haha.

I saw 2 smart cars today on the road, and those were my exact thoughts. It doesn't do me any good saving money on gas if I'm dead.

ummm..I'm 6'5" and 350lbs...don't think a smart car or prius will work. Thanks for the advice though...
