Along the Hoh river 70" in a year is a drought and they close the forests due to fire hazards.

Hoh river had some great salmon fishing this year. Made like 10 trips there.

I live right near the rain forest. In Quinault some years they get 140" of rain. Last few years we havent got to much rain I think last year we got in the neighborhood of 60-70". One good thing about the rain is that it keeps the city looking pretty clean. I am about 30 Minutes south of the Olympic Rainforest and 30 minutes east of the ocean.

Just an educated guess from a former western Washington resident.

one of the main reason i love mississippi so much... sunday it was 85 and yesterday it was 78.. ahhh i love this weather.

y do u guys up north complain abt the cold? i want it to get cold here. the coldest yet in my part of SO FL was 50-53 and i think that was w/ wind chill. o well, i'll get cold weather when i go to my cousins house in ATL for x-mas.

o btw, i'm going to the new aquarium there. mabey a MFK feild trip can be planned. dont know what the date is though.

It's just something the mediafolks made up to make drama....
(Don't know why, You sure have enough of drama with the hurricanes and

It's like 12 degrees and snowing now.

I now am happy about the lousy weather..... I was on my way home after some wings & beer and got pulled over.....it was so cold that the cop sent me on my way....I don't think he wanted to be outside in the weather.

I like the cold. Snow rocks, bottom line. It's easier to warm yourself up than it is to cool yourself down imo.
