You can find a somewhat nice clear rubber maid tub. Unless you want to be crafty and install a viewing window, that would be kinda cool to see as a diy.

y not glass arg. all rocksteady does is chill and eat fish. he doesnt need alot of swimming room. i doubt hes gonna get the full 2 foot across! so lets say 1.5 foot in carapice size. so ill buy him a 5foot wide by 3 foot deep tank. should be plenty..... i think. ill drop 5-6k on a tank i dont care. i want people to walk in my house look at my swampy tank and say wheres the fish and i can point and say look there he is, hes waiting for you to stick your arm in...

Your pleco is eating a shiner? Wow. I have never seen that.
ya hes awsome, but im waiting to hear it "plecos are suppose to have a vegetarian diet..." he eats what he wants i put lettuce and tomatoes in from time to time

one thing I have ALWAYS noticed with Devils in the same tank if there are 5 or more the males almost always seem to develop MASSIVE humps I guess they are competing with each other but remeber Toerags set-up with his devils being housed together and they all had MASSIVE humps and I've seen this in countless other tanks where devils were in cramped spaces

Alot of Plecos are scavengers they will eat anything. Some like Panaques need alot of wood in their diets.

I know this, it looks like a fresh shiner though. As if it caught it, I don't think I have ever seen this.

i just threw the shiners in from another tank with different temp so they go into shock sorta speak until they get acclimated.

i made a comment about having 7 red devils in a 150gal tank, why is this bad? i have had these fish since they were as small as a dime. and they are about 8+ inches now and they argue but nothing to searious... their mom died not to long after they were born. the male ripped her head from her body...

7 Red Devils in a 150 gallon is simply too stuffed. Especially once they mature, the Red Devils will stake out territories, and there will not be enough room to coexist. I suggest a much larger tank for them to live peacefully.

I use the FX5 for this tank along with 4 undergravel filters. water stays crystal clear...

Wow, are you kidding me? I had no clue red devils grew so freakin fast!
