Too Aggressive Firemouth

I have a 6" Firemouth in a tank. I have a 6.5" GT in the same tank.
Firemouth is bullying him. Should I pull the Firemouth out?
What should I do?

did you just add the gt to the tank recently???

no GT got there first about a week faster.
and the firemouth out grew a small tank, so I moved him there with GT

That's what happens when you keep cichlids. They are aggressive, however, things change. They may find a peaceful coexistence. Try adding some dither fish, such as scats.

i partly agree with this if the dither fish don't work try adding some hiding spots if all else fails separate
