Thanks ed ... given your pikes, the drool is much appreciated. I managed to hotwire an old CF fixture to try and add more light to the tank in the hopes of getting more usable pics.
And when I say they are too fast to take pics of their little flares, this is what I mean:

If he manages to keep her at bay and it's mostly just flaring, I let them get used to each other. If it gets out of hand, I'll usually step in to break it up. You'll see him slip (or rather sprint) in the floating abs cave at the end.
