Nice find Scat. Are these the sp. inirida we have been seeing for sale?

Not sure. There are at least 3 different species that come from Inirida. As usual they should be notated as "Inirida I", "Inirida II" & "Inirida III".

THANKS SCAT!!!!

These are most likely the sp. Inirida dwarf that's been on the lists .... the Inirida I-IV all seem to be sax types.

I don't suppose you have a better pic of the male? I saw an slightly unusual male mixed in the some of the Colombian Wallacii at the LFS, but with no females not sure if it's the matching species or not. And man is he a nasty little thing. I'll see if I noticed any slight extensions, since they weren't noto's I wasn't even looking at it ... was focusing on dorsal, anal, and tail patterns

Wow, species number 5 for me. Still super excited.

Beautiful! So the female of this dwarf lacks spots in her dorsal? Also, the male looks quite similar to my male regani.

Sadly the males of most of the dwarves look very similiar. The did have a pair of Tapajos Regani as well ... Already trying to figure out how to squeeze in a 33 long or 30 breeder!!!

I found this pic of a dwarf from Inirida but they are listing it as Cr. sp. aff. "nothophalmus"

It has the great orange fins but not the dorsal extensions. Maybe Inirida dwarf doesn't have the notho type fins?? Great looking little fish regardless.

Wow. Great pic. I think that slightly 'off' male is the same fish then ... I need to grab a divider and a few more pieces of mopani ... either that or a try to find a way to get a larger tank. Of course, the stand the 20 long is on can hold a 30 breeder .... hmmmmmmmm.

If Oliver has them, you can probably get a LFS to order from him (one of ours will).

Oliver has a ton of stuff I want, but I haven't been able to find a way to import anything from him without it costing an arm and a leg. Unfortunately, none of my LFS order from places like that.
