If the employee was a real salesman that guy would have walked out of the store with only a silencer only haha. Games inspire people. The demand of Percula Clowns probably tripled since Finding nemo.
I just dont think the guy deserves to be poked fun at... Maybe if he walked in and asked for a Halo plasma blaster or something. Or bazooka.
A rifle with a scar is a pretty reasonable request.
I'm all for constitutional rights as I own several firearms as well. But some people just don't get it. A responsible person would do plenty of research, especially before walking into a gun store and asking for a 'sniper rifle with a silencer'. It's no wonder most small gun store owners are a-holes. They deal with some of the dumbest people on the planet. If that guy wanted to be taken seriously, he should have acted seriously. What he did is laughable, and had he gone into a mom-n-pop gun store, guarantee he'd walk out feeling like an idiot.FishingOut;4553397;4553397 said:To implement his constitutional rights. Keeping fish is much harder than owning a gun, plus it isnt a constitutional right. That guys job is to sell guns, Not talk call of duty and make sure he will be a responsible gun owner.
Small gun store owners are smug because their life is guns. Just because someone doesnt research everything they do, doesnt make them the dumbest people on the planet, Its the shop keepers job to assist customers not judge them.
Yes they are, California Penal Code section 12520:RedDwarf;4553447;4553447 said:Silencers aren't illegal in California, just strictly regulated as well as some more fun to own guns. I see no harm in asking questions in gun stores, you have to learn somewhere and getting all your information online isn't always the best course of action, lots of misinformation out there. I know that the guys at the range would appreciate it if I could attach a can on my 45-110 (would never do that to my baby). I don't think there is ever a need to make someone feel like an idiot, you never know, if you educate people just like we do with people in pet stores, you never know they might get into that particular hobby.
Any person, firm, or corporation who within this state possesses a silencer is guilty of a felony and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison or by a fine not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000) or by both.
Section 12520 shall not apply to, or affect, any of the following:
(a)The sale to, purchase by, or possession of silencers by agencies listed in Section 830.1, or the military or naval forces of this state or of the United States for use in the discharge of their official duties.
(b)The possession of silencers by regular, salaried, full-time peace officers who are employed by an agency listed in Section 830.1, or by the military or naval forces of this state or of the United States when on duty and when the use of silencers is authorized by the agency and is within the course and scope of their duties.
(c)The manufacture, possession, transportation, or sale or other transfer of silencers to an entity described in subdivision (a) by dealers or manufacturers registered under Chapter 53 (commencing with Section 5801) of Title 26 of the United States Code, and the regulations issued pursuant thereto.
