Not always the pet stores fault. Some times people don't talk about their setups. People also lie, I will admit I did it as well in my early fish days.

:banhim:  Ive never lied about fish! I always get disappointed when the fish stores say no

Its not like I didn't fix it. I wanted to get an oscar but it was a week before I got my 55 gallon. I so I said I had a 55 when I bought him. I got the 55 a week later and returned the oscar because it was sickly, had ick and didn't realize it was stunted. Shortly after that I got my oscar that I have now and a month after I got my 55 I got a 75 gallon so it all worked out fine. The oscar is happy and healthy and still my favorite fish.

If they were illegal then there wouldn't be exclusions. They are just controlled under the GCA of 1968. I know lots of Class III sellers that have silencers in California. It's just next to impossible to get unless you jump through the hoops and pay for your tax stamps. Think of it as the next step up from the CCW, use to be next to impossible to get in California to but that's starting to change.
^^I did want a suppressor some time ago but after learning just what it takes in this state to even be considered to be allowed to have one,I realized that it's not something that I need to have...Here,among other things, one needs the endorsement of the top LE official of the county and it has to be on the LE department's letterhead.I have never heard of our police commissioner ever granting such a document so good for you Fishingout.

It's totally legal here in ohio to own a silcenced weapon. the problem is...

You need toget the tax stamp (200 tax that is send directly to the feds)

You need to find a class 2 manufacturer that can attach the silcener to the weapon (I know of at least one but not sure how expensive it will be)

fill out a bunch of paperwork that needs to be signed by local police chief or sheriff so they know what is floating around the area.

the silcencer alone costs more then the gun most of the time. and is not good for the life of the gun. they are only good for a few hundred shots. if you look at the specs for them they will say how many rounds before it will "go bad"

I know a guy that has a silenced uzi. the real deal full auto with a real silencer. It cost him almost $600 just to get the permits. but it's cool as hell and fun to shoot.

To implement his constitutional rights. To be honest it isnt anyones business but his own.

If the employee was a real salesman that guy would have walked out of the store with only a silencer only haha. Games inspire people. The demand of Percula Clowns probably tripled since Finding nemo.

I just dont think the guy deserves to be poked fun at... Maybe if he walked in and asked for a Halo plasma blaster or something. Or bazooka.
A rifle with a scar is a pretty reasonable request.
And that is one of the many things wrong with this country. Somehow it is okay for a person to own weapons capable of killing dozens of people before the can even attempt to defend themselves, yet it is not okay for other people to know about it, becuase somehow the constitution is more important than human life. Personally, I don't think it should be legal to own anything other than shotguns without being able to prove that you have a good reason to own it.

Selling somebody who has a FW bowl a Clown is equivalent to selling a Jerry's kid a shotgun.
Its retarded.
Its the petstores fault the fish died. No body elses. But I guess thats the price you pay when you exploit animals for profit.

Yes and no. There is a mutual responsibility to have common sense. People lie about their setup, ignore info, and will just shut you down because they don't want to hear it because they are already an "expert." If someone wants a fish bad enough they are going to lie and push their way to get it. In most cases its because their womb turd just has to have it. I experienced it first hand and its real lame.

I think silencers are illegal in all 50 states. I think there is a federal law against owning one.

No their not you just need a ATFE tax stamp and you to can own one.

The major problem I see with this is that even a high-quality silencer won't make it nearly as quiet as in COD. Rifles of any sort are LOUD, especially one as powerful as a sniper. Youtube silenced gun going off, not in a video game or movie. It's still quite loud, and would be useless for an assassination (or whatever the heck else you might use a silenced sniper for). The purpose would be for an actual mid combat situation where there are a lot of loud bangs, shouting, etc, and a shout-loud shot would not be as audible. Regardless, if you fire a rifle in anything other than a firefight, everyone will know where you are.
