not to overstocked i dont think i have like 3 aros and 2 shovelnose and pbass and 4 africans full grown in a 150g

WOW:banhim: Poor fish

OP, i would say a little overstocked with the poly's but with a 100g sump, you should be fine, you could add a green terror and just see what happens. IF things aren't going right, you can always upgrade or get rid of some fish. The average size oscar get to be about 13"-14", so you will be fine.

Also, how many oscars are really 16"+?

Agreed it is rare, they usually top out at 12-14. I just like to give my fish lots of space.

It's ironic that someone brought up a thread on big oscars. there are plenty of 12" oscars but few are bigger. I'm not disagreeing with you on you should have adequate space. I actually think were agreeing to disagree! I just think with that footprint the op is ok w 2 oscars. THat's just my personal opinon. I think if he keeps up on waterchanges and does necessary maintanence and makes smarter decisions as the fish grow he will be succesfull with whatever (reasonable) stocklist that he attempts to keep.

I think it will be okay, I just think bigger is better.

maybe he was saying that the AFRICANS were full grown, not necessarily all the other ones? Relax and find out the COMPLETE facts before freakin out. There are those who have told me that a 90 gallon is too small TEMPORARY home for a 7 inch Thinbar Dat. Honestly, as long as the fish is healthy and happy I couldn't give a hoot about what people want their set up to have. If he was a more well known member he'd be getting "That's amazing!" or "how do you do it?" or "Pics please! That sounds so cool!" People need to stop assuming they know how others run their tanks and let everyone enjoy the hobby. Obviously I'm not saying put an oscar in a 55. But you can't assume that the OP has no plans of upgrading. Maybe he has no plans to upgrade anytime soon. But all those fish have a bit of growing to do. So to the OP: Sure. add the GT. But keep up with your maintenance, like all good fishkeepers do.

If he was a more well known member, it would be because of infamy, not fame. Yes there are a few very well-liked members on here who have very overstocked tanks, but I don't think any of them are that bad.

That's not what it sounded like to me (or anyone else, for that matter).....

Edit: Look at his tank setup.... ;)

His tank setup doesn't to indicate anything about Aros or peacock bass unless I'm reading it incorrectly...So I was under the assumption that it simply wasn't up to date.

I agree, it must not be up to date (otherwise he is just a troll), but assuming this is true, his fish must all be mature (he wouldn't have a juvie aro and pbass in a tank with a 20" shovelnose cat--which I'm assuming is a TSN).
