I, too, am a brand junkie. Ryobi, FTW. I have about half the line of original one+ 18v line (chainsaw, nail gun, right angle drill, compressor, sander, grinder, shop vac) and all work without problem. The true gem of the line, however, is the LiIon one+ line. I have a circular saw, drill, recip saw, and flash light. All of the tools have been redesigned and have a really nice hand feel, they hold much more like corded power tools in regards to weight distribution. That, and the batteries are really light and are backwards compatible with all the other one+ tools. This way, when you need a new power tool, you'll end up spending about $40.

If I can find it in ryobi, I usually just buy from harbor freight. It's hit or miss, so I only buy specialty tools that I don't use a whole lot. For example, I bought a backup air compressor from their that is leaky as a sieve, but I also bought a jig saw from there that has worked like a beast for over a year with no real problems.

With handtools, I really like either husky or HF.
lmao you cheap ass
