Mbu.

is 500 big enough for a group of Tems?

planted SA with Heros Severus, Acaras, guincara, festivum, tetras, a ton of Cories, a few fancy plecos, and a couple Raphael.

Black aro & Lince cat
Never done a planted tank .... would love one but I think 500 gallons is to much to start with a planted

Tank 1
A pair of wild oscars
10 pink tail chalceus
20 metynnis lippincotianus
7 banded or 3 spot leporinus

Tank 2
Furnished with lots of branches and twigs
300 black neons
12 Bolivian rams
Large shoal of headstanders or pencil fish
15 followella catfish
And a few small fancy L numbers

1: Umbee pair
2:festae pair
3: a community with firemouths and other small cichlids, probably with plecos and a schooling fish for the top water
4: Some P bass
5: No cichlids but odball with gars, polys, eels(Not true ones but fire eels) Maybe BGK

well the first and most obvious thing to do with one of those tanks is to box it up and ship it to me. you definitely dont have time for two big tanks and dont need the hassle of trying to sell it so I'll take it off your hands free of charge lol.

first tank an umbee pair. or a mff red terror group with maybe a lima shovelnose cat or big pleco.

second tank would be a community. severums, acaras, a couple plecos, silver dollars, a shoal of ornate pimelodus and a group of geophagus for sure. if its a tall 500 a school of chalceus or brycon falcatus would be really impressive for the topwater.
