channa (snakeheades) known to be one of the most ferocious
killers in the deep

clarias catfish (walking catfish) again known to be a cold blooded killer

asian red tail catfish a nuther known killer

wallagoo attu (helicopter catfish) perhaps one of the largest catfish an adult would probably eat 20 full grown flowerhorns in one sitting

mangrove jacks mean as hell with a big set of canines

so you think flowerhorns will kill of all these bad boys?
wat about the other little fish you say wel if they can survive with the 1s i listed i dont think sum flowerhorns will cause much problem

Flowerhorns eat their fingerlings, including the snakehead fingerlings..and can hold their place against these species you listed, thats why theres lots of flowerhorns swimming in the waterways as they are not wimpy fish. These FH replaced our rarest asian cichlids and few species by themselves.

You seem to be dead struck against flowerhorns. You think a flowerhorn can hold it's own against a 10 ft catfish or 4 ft catfish? Have you seen how the Snakehead own everything and the snakeheads reproduce faster than convicts why do you think they are such a problem in US waterways.

Actually snakehead impact on the native fish very little and they dont seems breed very fast as the native fish is still plenty in Potamic River.
 
Ha I dont heard any complains about snakehead being problem in USA. And Potamic River is do fine. Ask anybody who lives near Potamic River.
