They're a pretty sensitive fish. I wouldn't do it. Are you looking for more unique looking fish?

They are fairly difficult to get started with, I would avoid them

Tbh I wouldn't keep those, I think their organs don't do too well.

Maybe a centipede knifefish or similar, their feeding may be a little iffy

Yeah, if you want uniquely shaped fish, you're pretty limited by the fact that you want something for a beginner and it has to fit in a 46 bowl front.
