Hey man if the flubendazole doesn’t work you can try getting levimasole from Amazon. It’s the farm version for sheep, cows and is called “Prohibit”. I dosed it at 1/4 tsp per 100 gallons coz it’s a powder. Good luck.

It maybe too far gone..

Ok thanks for the reply I don't have any of that stuff on hand, but I do have flubendazole would that be of any help?

Yes, it actually has an effect on what both levamisole and metronidazole do....plus what prazuqantel does. It's a very broad spectrum de-wormer.

Can it be forced fed? Because he's in a 90 gallon tank and I don't wana have to dose that much.

No. It's got to go into the water. You may try a double doze. It is quite safe. If the fish is still not well, it maybe too far gone and organs are shutting down.

Apart from that, maintain a really clean water. Increase your water changes significantly in order to increase the fish's chances significantly.

Sadly I lost him. I guess he was to old to keep fighting. I'm assuming he was about 10 years old. Should I continue treating his tank anyways to make sure the parasites are gone for future inhabitants?

Really sorry to hear that. Older fish are a lot more sensitive and not so resilient.

Yes, I'd finish off the treatment. It's ok to de-worm once in a while even if you see no issues.
