maybe 3", yes i did receive them from wetspot. he is growing like a weed, these picture were taken a week before the above pictures, and a day after i got them.

This is my smaller guy a day after i got them.

I'm charging batteries so I can use my other camera, my web cams is doing a ****ty job. Mine does look green but the camera isn't picking it up.

Maybe a natural color would, but he might be dark caused by stress.

I have some river rock similar to what you have I can put in. He seems pretty happy by fish standards. Hes swimming around the tank and approaches the front when I get near the tank.

Should i use black gravel, white gravel, or river rock?

i had one over white sand and it seemed to dull the colors. maybe the river rock is your best choice, you can see in my picture the gravel i am using.

I had white gravel in it originally but it did dull it like you said. So trimacs do have speckles on their fins?

ya they do, both of mine do and the one i got from ken did. These guys just have a little more speckles. mine look like none of the low grade flowerhorns i've ever owned.
