Trimac Tribute Thread

Bumping this thread again , wanted to know if anyone has a update they would like to share.

I am still fascinated by these fish and I am going to be ordering 2 and a few other things from Cichlid connection hopefully really soon. I was wondering CC if your Trimacs get the "tear drop" below the eye ? I am hoping I can find a pair that has those

I once had a 6" male that was so aggro that he had 5 8" Haitensis pinned up in one corner of my tank. Sold him and he was a good 14" of pure anger when he finally passed.
