how can i treat for it?
since it is deadly won't all infected anphibs die or at least show signs of it? can i not assume that if no signs have showed during the quarantining period then they are not infected?

i really appreciate all the input everyone is putting in on this, even the negative stuff. thanks again guys.

One thing that might be worth investing in for the water portion would be a uv sterilizer to keep everything as clean as possible. If you are really set on frogs then it might be a good idea to add them after you have tried some of your other herps so you will get an idea at how this thing works since they are more prone to getting sick since their skin is so absorbant. And I would be slightly worried about all of the roaches eating some of your plants I am not the most familiar with roaches so I am not positive on this but it would deffinately be something worth looking into.

oh i will definitely have a UV sterilizer on it, probably two since more won't hurt.
i don't think the roaches will eat the plants, but i'll test it by putting some leaves in my roach bins and see which roaches eat which leaves.

Using Lamasil At spray ( 10 sprays in 200 ml water) daily soaks for 5 minutes 10 days in a row. They much be put back into a completely cleaned/bleached area each time or they will just reinfect them selves repeatedly.

Not all infected amphibs show signs of it. Stress will bring it out. Excessive shedding, Excesssive water soaking are some signs of it. I know there is alot more but I dont off hand remember them.

The most recent Reptiles magazine will probably be of interest to you they have an article about mixed species habitats. Have you gotten any further on this?
