Is this become of what some ppl have been saying about their GC tanks over 300G blowing out? I actually wanna get another tank from them because they're a good amt cheaper than the other co.'s but I'm afraid to go larger than my 240 with them lol

No, they mentioned it holding water because there was a corner chip that I patched. Thanks for scaring me even further though. :D

As to the more pics demands, let me see how the tank looks this evening.

Luckily your fish can't read that or they would be more scared than you  Looking forwards to pictures.

I'm going to stockpile 95% of the Trops in the US and show pics to Alex until he personally flies a Cuban over to me.

haha it won't work, i've been hoarding t-gar pics for 2-3 years and am pretty immune to...ohh new t-gr pics!!...*runs off to save pic in hard disk*

honestly though, i checked with my exporter again, it's not possible to get a cuban over seeing as they're 2', and the largest box is 2' long:(. if i were you i'd be tracking down the 2 cubans Solomon sold off not too long ago.

only sold off 1 Cuban back in the day :) that being said, from the second order that came in to the US in recent past (i believe it was 2007), most of those fish should still be hanging around the east coast...for those that are left, i heard there was pretty high initial mortality with those that bought them (Cubans being of course more sensitive than other gars at those stages).

we'll bring them in again, will unfortunately take a longer time than initially anticipated (Michael knows about this unfortunate fact).

that being said, the 500g looks great michael! looking forward to seeing pics of the other gars in there!--

Are you doing one of those fancy 3D backgrounds? I just used black spraypaint for my background (not that I can see it yet).

I'm really glad to see its holding water!!!

Yes, me too. Not only did I silicone the chip extensively, I also sealed on an outside brace over the corner as well as an inside corner brace inside the overflow. There should literally be no chance of that chip cracking under the pressure.
