TRUE BLACKDIAMOND LEOPOLDI

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hi Mike,

Looking at the second pic I would have said that this Leo had great potential maybe even a BD, but if you take a close look at both pictures you can see that the arrangement and shape of the spots is very similar, so I would say they are related. The bad thing about this observation is that if I am right the pup in pic 2 could turn to look like the leo in pic 1. Not that it is not nice but the one in the second pic looks like it should develop a lot better.

The belly of either animal doesn't match up with the belly of a BD at all, there should be intense spotting halfway the disc. In my recolection even BD x Leo have these markings underneath, so for me it is very strange that neither of these "BD Leos" show any markings whatsoever.

If I were to get a BD I wouldn't only want a BD by bloodline, I would want one that looks like a real one aswell.

Greetings Mark

How about some pictures of the belly of young BD rays, I have seen alot posted but there all adult BD underside anyone have any pictures of the belly of a real BD that is 1-2 months old and 5-7". Are they born with alot of spots or do the spots come out as they grow? Thanks for all help I want to make sure I get the real deal for my breeding stock.
