LOL, yeah thats a Cyano.

Yeah I know you're in NewYork. Thats why I said, "Here in California", and not "There in California", lol.

I got 3 Cyano if you're interested, I can get more too.

Lol, sorry I misread your post! lol, so you feel confident that this is a Cyano?

For sure dude...dont listen to the hybrid comments. the facial structure and everything else, pearls, the tail dot, the body mark. And its also got a black mark on the dorsal with makes it at least 75% female.

Great to hear! I have been looking for a while now and i am glad after sifting through the hybrids, and carpintis i was able to get one.

The pearls are the main difference. Texas has spots, the Carpintis has blotches (much larger spots). To me, they have completely different coloring also, when they are older.

Google Texas and then Carpintis, look at the spots, you will see the difference.

When I had a Cyano that size, he was actually a much lighter color then that, then when he would get really pissed off, he would turn bright white.

Not to be useless or anything but what is the difference between a cyano and carpinitis texas cichlid?

Here is a example of a Cyno that use to be mine, but he passed away last year.As for a Carpintis, I believe I have one of those now, but not 100% sure at the moment.
