  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wow they are stunning!! I don’t know why some people say they are full and drab but they look stunning to me full grown. Looks like I’m gonna have to start planning for a bigger tank

I think people just compare them to the atabapo's with the bright red, or the zebrina with the green and orange, so they say these are "drab" as mostly tan. But mine had tons of gold on the head and pink on the belly. I thought they were very pretty fish

Planning for a larger tank is one of life’s many joys.

I totally agree. If that’s how they look full grown then I believe my LFS had one in the tank next to the ones I bought. Asked the employee and he said it’s a different kind but it sure looks exactly like your pic. Asking price was $100

Looking good! I would be wary of the botia and cuda, they are both slender and in another inch or two of pike growth, will probably become snacks. You'd be surprised what can fit in their mouths

2 months later and they’re 8.5” and I noticed that one of them has a pink belly while the other one is more of a grayish blue color. Eats like a pig.

Nice. Maybe they’ll pair up.
