If its barbels are rotting its prob an ammonia spike in your tank , water clean reagular water changes , don't let temp drop too much that'll make it worse , as for treatment id use melafix and salt in treatment tank , keep plenty of oxygen in water while treating (airstone powerhead ) , repeat does after daily water change id do 20% day for week see how you get on , good luck hope they pull through

are sure that is going to work i am keeping them in bucket. the tanks temp is 84 degrees it should be fine so what salt should i add

Are you sure it isn't going to work? Why are they in a bucket anyways? "Should be" isn't fine enough. What is your "bucket" size that you are holding your cats in?

it is around 3 ft diameter i put them in the tank but it got worst so i put em back . as for water change i changed 20 percent water change and put good water back. the aro and datnoid and bichirs are doing fine they are eating as well. but tsn suffering

I agree with 334 on this one bucket not best option will cause more stress and you won't get enough flow or oxygen in it , try set up.a treatment tank , if you've no tanks spare a large plastic storage container will work but you need heater and filtration (small internal will do it )

Your cats will be suffering because ammonia will be burning there barbels on bottom of tank, you got gravel/sand ? Do huge gravel clean as your water changing , id do 50% out of tank

Dats, arows and bichirs are scaled fish. Cat fish are scaleless fish. Use 1/2 the dosage in the tank for your cat. Just raise the temp to 86+ degrees.

it is not a bucket it is container and i have added a oxygenator if i put htem in the tank they will die. ive raised temp to 86 degrees and i have done a water change and add salt so should i put em in tank or keep em in bucket

and i cleaned the tank about 2 weeks ago .should i put the tsns back to tank but whem i put them some white skin appears on the tsns. when put them in bucket they are more active and the white stuff goes away

If you've got gravel or sand in tank id keep them in container for now untill got get tank sorted out , do water changes on both though , gravel clean tank while water changing , do small water change daily in container and then treat water with melafix and small amount of aquarium salt
