Wow! This one is nasty. I just found out by reading that it hit Hawaii then backtracked the information on it starting in Japan.

From what I've seen of your home I'm sure you're plenty far from the coast, aren't you?

It has already hit along the northern Oregon coast. It was not anything you would notice at all. They are saying the waves will be larger further south, hopefully it fizzles out down in your parts as well!
