The beach is littered with wreckage from the harbor docks.

It seems incredible that an event so far away can have a direct physical impact here. We were very fortunate that the tidal surges occurred at low tide. I suspect that the whole world will be economically impacted by the catastrophic events in Japan. It was a really terrible set of events that happened in Japan last week.

So very very devestating to watch the news.. and see all the destruction .. and hear how many people are gone and of course numbers are climbing..just incredible sadness and heartache for those people..

Definitely. Japan's economy is based almost entirely on the exporting of products. Right now Toyota does not have a single facility operational.

Glad I got my new Toyota in January I bet prices will go up, and the 0% financing will go away, if it hasn't already.
