Turtle with monster fish, possible?

Ok you have convinced me to keep turtles out of my monster tank, I have a nice tank with 1 very small channa pulchra in, he is fairly aggressive but I don't think he would bother a turtle of his size... If he did would the turtle have adequate protection?

Well, I know nothing of the teeth structure of that specific snakehead, but what I've seen them do to fish?
It would strip the meat right off the turtles leg...

Yea he is pretty mean :/ I guess I will have to be very very carful how I introduce them and have another tank ready if they don't get along...

For the plan B tank, I know this is probably a stupid question but would using cycled media from a fish tank work to cycle a turtle tank?

Upon further review of this post...it seems you have the makings of a perfect new member. Getting it the first time you are told, and not hearing only what you want.

You will go far...

I love turtles as does everyone in my house and I have often consider getting one.Just curious though what size tank would u need for a single red eared slider?Sorry not trying to hijack your thread just didnt want to start my own because I probably wont get one just wanted to know the space requirements for one.
