Turtle with monster fish, possible?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My buddy has a red eared slider in his thousand gallon tank with no issues. They all ignore each other. It sounds like that may be the exception to the rule though.

Turtles will usually pick on or eat the fish but sometimes with patience you get lucky. This is my florida softshell around 15" with 24-30" cats :) the cats actually pick on him but theyve been together for over a year.

Sorry for the reposts...but this softshell is also a female so she really doesnt have claws that could scratch the fish. I have a 6" spiny softshell male that has longer claws than her lol....also this was probably a bad idea to post pics. I am very lucky to have my group cohabitate with no issues my smaller softshell tears up anything in his tank so its a case by case scenario.
