I've had the Polli for a month now. She grew about 3/4 inch, is now just under 5 inches but much more filled out. Love this fish!

Magpie you have some of the cutest and most personable polys ever. One in a million Moke and Always on the move Macaroni :) Gives me hope that if I get a small typically shy UJ that it perhaps won't be shy. And be like just yours :)

Fatty Macaroni has great looking patterns and pec fins! They all look so happy. You have a wonderful crew!

I'm happy to hear a debate. I have no clue re: CB and WC.

Feel free to give opinions. :)

We can agree it's definitely misidentified. Presumably to no fault of the store. Believe it came from the farm or supplier. Ironically or coincidentally ;-) the store hasn't had any WC Polli listed for some time now ever since these Tank Raised Palmas Palmas been on their list .....:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Pollis have been known to breed or show signs of courtship in the aquaria CizziB CizziB without the aid of hormones. My buddy Michael who's not in the forum much has 4 adult size palmas polli @ 11-13", and they're constantly courting. Now back to yours, lol.... Macaroni just looks just like any wild caught Polli out there. Very pretty one in fact!

I don't care too much re: WC or CB outside of my own curiosity.

Polyaddict seemed to think WC.

I thought that it was strange to get a 4" poly WC but maybe that happens? I feel like the WC polys I usually see are 6" and up. But I have very limited experience.

She also eats like a CB! ;)

But as for physical features I don't know. I wish I had been able to see the WC they had on the list for awhile, and I also don't remember the size they had them listed at either....

Just for the sake of curiosity. Here's Polyaddict86 Polyaddict86 wild polli from wetspot. He may have a pic on a different substrate.
