Udon, Soba, and the Noodles

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Activity level and other behaviors the same? If so I wouldn't worry too much and try again tomorrow. If nothing then I'd try a few different foods as suggested.

I have krill, bloodworms, and silversides. Could also do earthworms or live blackworms...

He's acting the same. My Moke and ropes didn't eat the first couple days. The Del and Poly ate right away.

My teugelsi didn't eat for the first 2 days either, just explored and sniffed around every level of the tank. Turned her nose up at pellets, despite me watching her eat tetra color bits of all things in the lfs, which worried me as well. 3rd night she took basa chunks, later tilapia, now homemade gel food. It's been 3 weeks and she comes poking around the front of the tank as soon as lights go out and tucks right in. She likes it dim - with only ambient light from the other tanks.

Perhaps I missed it, but have you tried feeding with lights out?

Edit: Once again, Polyaddict 86 and I have the same response, lol.

Yeah, I want my fish I eat with lights on so I try to avoid getting into the habit of lights off feeding.

He is out in front up top much of the time so hopefullyitll just take a day or so.

I'll try again maybe with worms of some sort. I can always do moonlight or cloudy setting if it's not working.

I guess I haven't had any issues in the past maybe because my tank is so densely planted and I have the floating plants, which dims the light and provides security with the cover. I usually keep the lights off for the first day and then just resume life as normal.

But maybe this one will need it. Thanks for the input!

I'll see how he does today - it's been less than 48 hours, I need to be patient.

I keep lights on during feedings to avoid creating habbits too. Did you treat for parasites ? Not saying thats the case but i always do.

No... I am really bad with Wet Spot fish. (*sheepish look*)

They'd been there a month probably. It had a nice round belly.

Would it be bad to treat the whole tank now, and with what?

Ziti is kind of acting like that book "Are You My Mother?"

He really wants to hang out with the Butterflies.

Are you my mother? (Or maybe my brother?)

Video of him swimming a little, but at the end he snuggles up, specifically choosing to go between two of the Butterflies.
