Udon, Soba, and the Noodles

I want to get the polys eating earthworms from my fingers. The knives did but they aren't so keen on worms for some reason

Your new scape is stunning, with a really nice interplay of light and shaded areas . Very nice effect.

Those water lettuce look huge! It's been ages since mine have seen that size. Mine start putting out daughter plants once they reach the size of a dollar coin and cover the tank surface. Yours remind me of the big ones you see in koi ponds. Even your water lettuce are Jurassic .

I bet you have the "aquarium" version and she has the "pond" version. My lfs sells pond water lettuce its around 3-5" around and aquarium water lettuce its 2-3". I'm guessing the aquarium is a dwarf variant its 2x more $.

I have 'tank'lilies in my aquarium. Pretty small compared to pond lilies (I need to grow new leaves on it first)

Actually, this is the same plant in both of my tanks and It doesn't grow nearly as big in my 65 gallon - pretty much like you are saying, O. It just does this in the small tank. I think because the light is pretty much right next to the plant, whereas in the bigger tank it's down quite a bit further relatively speaking. Sometimes I'll pull the big ones from the small tank and put it into the big tank.

Id be really disappointed in lfs if this was the only difference. I don't have any right now but was debating on using some in the 180.

I use flourish and decent lighting. I don't want to dose. And they don't need to go any more out of control! LOL

What do you mean disappointed in the LFS?

I'm sure there are large and small variations to purchase (?), but for me personally this one tank causes the small ones to grow large vs a ton of babies...

I was just saying that if the only difference at my lfs was really just lighting making the "large pond" or "Dwarf aquarium" lettuce grow to different sizes with the price discrepancy Id be disappointed in their misleading information.
