I've read on this forum in the past, starting way back with beblondie, about feeding polys catfish once a week to try and prevent bloat and move things through the system. I got a bag of filets at the grocery store in the freezer section. I don't know how much it actually works, but I figure either way it's variety and they love it! It is a little more oily so I rinse it several times and I tend to feed it the night before my WC.
Meatball is doing great! Not picking on anyone (except cherry shrimp which... of course), always saying hi to me, eating well, and cute as hell.
I love having a puffer - I've always wanted one. I love that these guys are FW, are middle of the road activity wise between lurker and hunter (not a lump like a lurker, but not spazzy like SAPs) don't need a huge tank (like fahaka) and can actually live with some other fish. I don't regret my decision at all.
