UFC 117: Silva vs Sonnen

Silva will win because thats what he does but hopefully Sonnen will make it interesting.
JDS should destroy Nelson. I mean who's he beaten? Kimbo and Stickman Struve. This is Junior.
Above sarcasm aside, I enjoy watching Struve fight but think he needs to bulk up to actually enjoy his reach advantage.

I don't see struve being a contender at all or anytime soon though. He's a tall dude with long reach but doesn't utilize it. and he's slow on his feet,............. I dont' know if he can physically move the way some hw's move. but dude is still young, you'll never know

Yeah I think he has a shot at being great one day. He's just so skinny. I understand its hard to make weight at that height but I think he really needs to bulk up to get some non submission wins. Though all those subs are definitely good, cant have a big guy whos only good at stand up (cough)Kongo(cough).

Matt Hughes vs Ricardo Almeida - I got Almeida, and likely by decision. I think Ricardo could sub him, but I don't think Hughes will let him, so I think Ricardo will win in a decision.

Roy Nelson vs Junior Dos Santos - Some guys on this board, and another, have started to make me rethink some things about Roy, but in this fight, I'm going with my gut (pun intended) and picking Dos Santos by a mile. I think JDS will KO Roy, and if by chance Roy escapes and it goes to the ground, he will get pounded out. I feel pretty good saying that Dos Santos is in the top 3 in the heavyweight division.​

I hate A. Silva and I hope he gets KTFO'd. I have a hard time w/ the JDS fight as I really actually like both of them, but I don't think Roy is on his level. I really hope Alves wins, but Fitch is a great fighter even if "boring".

I'm really super excited to see Phil Davis. I hope they play the fight. He wrestled my cousin a couple times in High School and is the nicest guy you'll ever meet and has ridiculous skills and strength.

should be a great card and I really hope I can watch it.
 
I was just thinking Svang, I am taking the big underdog in this fight, so maybe our bet shouldn't be a 1-1.

I say, if I lose, I'll take the avatar, but not the sig, and if you lose, you take both.
 
I'm looking forward to seeing JDS trash Nelson.The guy just annoys me I guess in the same way that Brock Lesnar rubs some people the wrong way....Hopefully, all of the trash talking done by Sonen will inspire The Spider to shut him up and take him out.
 
i actually think a fighting style like Chael Sonnen is the best bet to beat anderson but i dont think chael will win.i dont think chael will get knocked out and i do think he could get anderson down but he leaves himself open for submissions all day.he is good at avoiding submissions but someone like anderson will probably tap him or put him to sleep
